Patricia Cohen, a philanthropist, acclaimed documentarian, and children’s literature author, is the heart and soul of our organization. Having graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Journalism – Written Journalism, Patricia embarked on a journey of service that would fundamentally shape her life and the lives of countless others.
During her years in the criminal justice field, Patricia recognized the profound impact of compassion, human decency, and respect on those she served. This realization sparked a profound change within her; she understood that sometimes, a simple smile, a listening ear, or a kind gesture could be a beacon of hope for those struggling in the shadows.
Before founding our organization, Patricia initiated and supported a variety of programs and organizations, making an immeasurable difference in the lives of many. These initiatives included:
• Hospitals
• Women’s Immigration Detention Centers
• Pediatric Hospital Breakfasts
• Toy Donations
Patricia was a comforting presence for patients without company. She held the hands of those about to undergo surgery, providing a soothing presence until the anesthetic took effect and they were escorted to the operating room.
Patricia provided encouragement and support to women grappling with isolation and alienation. She conducted a range of classes from language acquisition to literacy and enrichment programs.
Patricia recognized the emotional strain on parents who traveled far and wide for their children's groundbreaking cancer treatment. To alleviate their stress, she arranged for meals to be brought to the hospital, offering both nutritional and emotional support.
Patricia coordinated toy donations for children living in dire conditions both in the U.S. and abroad. These efforts aimed to bring a moment of joy to children who often felt alone.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of children and women navigating through challenging circumstances by fostering self-confidence, offering emotional support, and creating avenues for future success.

Since you may not know much about my personal journey, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share a bit more about who I am.
I have been fortunate to live a truly blessed life, surrounded by abundance and joy. I didn’t embark on this journey seeking a better life—I was already living the best life one could ask for. I cherish human connection, boasting a sociable personality and a keen sense of humor. While I find amusement in daily life, I maintain a deep intolerance for injustice and abuse of any form.
My core values—truth, equality, and justice—shape who I am and fuel my belief that we all possess the capacity to enact change in the world. As a woman, I firmly believe in the potential of every woman to achieve extraordinary feats and make positive, lasting impacts on communities and future generations. Equally crucial is the responsibility we bear to safeguard the innocence of our children—no matter the cost.
I hold fast to the idea that every action carries consequences, and our failure to act against abuse can cast a long shadow. I emphasize the power of reinvention—of starting anew after each setback—without needing to justify these choices to anyone. I deeply respect those who find the courage to seek self-love in challenging times, learn from these experiences, and then use these lessons to serve others facing adversity.
The injustices and apathy I see in the world deeply sadden me, especially the ongoing struggles and abuses faced by children and women. I believe education is a fundamental pillar of success, and we can all make a difference by prioritizing action over words. By being kind to one another and offering moments of joy to those in need, we can pave the way to a better future.
These convictions and more have inspired me to embark on this new chapter—one that fills me with immense pride and unwavering commitment. I sincerely hope that this is not your only visit to our website.
